Andrea Ubhi BChD
In 2005 she was awarded the 'Dentist of the Year' award by The Probe. She was the first woman to win the award, and amongst the youngest to do so. She provides a series of lectures for fellow dentists in cosmetic dentistry, and runs a one-to-one training course to enable other dentists to provide the high quality treatments being offered at Andrea Ubhi York.
In 2009, she started reducing her clinical commitment, allowing her to focus on training and the management of both of her practices. She remains the clinical director of both practices, and works closely with her team at Andrea Ubhi York to ensure that patients have access to high quality cosmetic treatments.
She is a general member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The British Dental Association. She has written for professional dental journals and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Private Dentistry. Dr. Ubhi was President of York Dental Society, 2000-2001. She is a spokesperson for dentistry within the media. Both Dr Ubhi and the practice have been featured in national, regional and consumer print and broadcast media.
